Embrace Change != Schizophrenia

One of the most common misconceptions about Agile is that "embrace change" is a mantra that implies "do whatever you want". This is not true.

Instead of writing more about this, I'm just going to direct you to a great post I found this morning about the top five secrets to successfully implementing agile by braintrust software. Summarized, their points include:
  • Ease Your Way Into It
  • Be pragmatic in your approach
  • Embrace Change
  • Practice Servant Leadership
  • Find the right customer for a pilot
It's a really good description (better than I can write) and I really like their 3rd and 4th points. So feel free to click through and check it out.
